"Creative Roots was my second home from the ages of 7-18. I grew up in the community of students, parents, and teachers all pitching in to create a vibrant place of artistic expression, support, and growth. In my time at Creative Roots, I learned confidence, leadership, self-expression, and comradery. The teachers offered the kind of training that goes beyond good technique and performance skills, into how to simply be a good student and compassionate person. I would not have gone on to have a career as a professional dancer without the solid foundation that Creative Roots gave me!"
